📖 Read: Goodbye, 6th year! أقرأ
Last Friday was the last day of school at Ibn Rachiq Primary School in Kairouan. The pupils had a big party in the playground.
At ten o’clock, a clown arrived. He had a red nose, big yellow shoes and a funny hat. He danced and fell down, and everybody laughed. Then a magician did a magic show. He took a white rabbit out of his hat! The little ones shouted: “Wow!”
After the show, the teachers gave juice and doughnuts to everybody. Poor Ramy didn’t eat a doughnut. He had a toothache!
At the end, the headmaster gave each 6th year pupil a certificate and a small gift: a book. The pupils wrote their wishes on paper stars. Rihab wrote: I want to be a doctor. Then they hugged their teachers. “We will miss you!” they said. It was a sad and happy day at the same time.

A model text to compare with (after writing mine)
Our end of year party was on 28th June in our classroom. First, we decorated the room with balloons and stars. Then a clown came and did funny tricks. After that, we watched a short magic show. We ate doughnuts and cake, and we drank orange juice. My friend Ahmed didn’t dance, but he sang a song. At the end, our teacher gave us small gifts. I will miss my teacher and my friends!
One good example among many: compare, don’t copy.
